What will I learn in your HTML Web Design Workshop?
We will teach you the basic HTML tags to help you understand how to update the text and graphics of your HTML web pages. This course is not designed to turn you into a full pledge webmaster but rather to help you understand how web pages are modified using HTML tags.
What is the difference between a group class and the personalized one-on-one training?
The primary difference is price. With our Personalized one-on-one class, you're the only student. Therefore, we can focus solely on your personal needs. In addition, it includes training on SEO as well as E-commerce, if time permits. In essence, the Personalized One-on-One Training includes all of the group class packages under one price. The group class requires that there be at least 6 people signed up for the class before the class is scheduled and booked on the main calendar. If there are less than 6 people, the class is postponed until the sixth (6th) person is signed up. Another disadvantage is that the instructor's attention is split into 6 individuals therefore, we might not be able to spend the quality time you need in order to fully comprehend the class lessons. This is by no means designed to discourage you from signing up in the group class but rather the harsh reality of the truth. Group class is ideal for those who have extensive computer and/or some html background.
This sounds very complicated. How do I know if I can do this?
You don't until you give it a try. We're quite confident that you can learn HTML because HTML is primarily designed for the non-technical person. We have taught the same class to students who has no computer background and by the time they finished the class outline, they were ready to tackle the entire project on their own. Plus, with so many resources available on the web, it is hard not to learn this stuff. Once you learn the basics, you will know where to go from there.
Do you have a payment plan?
No. We do not offer any type of payment or financing for any of our classes or one-on-one training program. However, we do accept credit cards e.g. Visa, Mastercard and American Express - which can act as your financing program.
If I'm interested, how do I sign up?
You can either purchase the class right on our web site or simply give our office a call and place your order. You must prepay for the class ahead of time. Once you have prepaid for the class, we will contact other interested or prepaid students and propose a scheduled date and time. Once all 6 students agree to the scheduled date and time, then the class begins.
If I sign up for the Personalized One-on-One Training Program, when does the class starts?
At your earliest convenience. Simply advise our office of when you would like the class to commence and we will work around your schedule. You can also break up the 15 hours into blocks of 3-4-5 hours that suits your needs.
Do I need to register a domain name and purchase a web hosting account before getting started?
Not necessarily. If you are purchasing the Personalized One-on-One package, it includes 1-Year Domain Name Registration as well as 1-Year of Basic Web Hosting. Therefore, it is best to wait until you've signed up for the class before deciding on a domain name and web hosting account. However, if you're signing up for our group class, it will be most convenient if you purchase your domain name and web hosting account ahead of time and preferably through our office so that we can further assist you in the best possible manner both in short and long term solutions.
Do I own the web site that we create during class?
Yes, of course. You own everything and you can actually take it with you when the class is over. You are not obligated to register your domain name and set up web hosting with us but you're more than welcome to. However, if you register your domain name and host elsewhere, you can take the finished web pages that we did in class and upload it to an outside web hosting service and use the web pages any way you like.
